Packing Up & Moving

Once I installed a professional face to PhotoMojo.info, I moved the photoblog here to a free WordPress account out of convenience. This was my attempt at communicating to clients & friends about what I was working on at the time.

I’ve finally gotten around to creating a personal photo website that is attached to my main website ChrisDenbow.com. This is also out of the desire to phase out of the “Mojo” brand name I’ve built for myself over the years. Very soon I will import this database to my own server which includes the articles and photos to the new site. I’ll leave this open here awhile until I think every one has made the move with me.

That means it is time to book your 2009 Holiday Session! Photo Mojo has LIMITED session times available for the holidays – so get your date scheduled NOW! This year we are offering another two Mini Session Dates, November 14th and November 15th. Fall Breeze

Some of the coolest people in the world just also happen to be our friends. I was happy to capture the Breeze family recently on a rare chilly (60 degrees) day here in Houston. Their daughter is 4 days older than ours and they just love playing together. Isn’t she the cutest? Thanks, Breezes!

Coming Soon

As promised, the Mojo deconstruction project is coming along nicely. I’m in the process of dropping that brand into one that reflects myself and whatever projects I choose to endure. The new website is waiting on me to back up the WordPress database, switch over the servers and reinstall. I imagine I will add a few more bells & whistles this time around too. If you come to the Mojo address after the conversion, it will redirect you to the new address. As for now, I want to alert everyone to some contact information changes.

I am still considering what to do with my photography business, Photo Mojo and this re-branding effort. I am heavily invested here and to change that now would take some extra time and revenue. If you have any suggestions for a new name, I’d love to review it. I’ve already killed any notion of using “Chris Denbow Photography” due to it’s boring, uninspired, de-creative, full-of-suck title.  I need creative, anti-suck branding here!

Photo Shoot Out

I’m thinking of starting a hybrid event that is one part photo walk and one part photo competition. Shooters would meet at a specific location, socialize/shoot and then follow-up afterward with a  critique/competition. Feel free to “shoot” some ideas to help me work this out. Thanks!
