There is a small town in Utah named Mexican Hat, after its unique rock formation that embodies a man wearing a sombrero. You can see Mexican Hat Rock from highway 191 as you drive through town. Few visitors stop to admire the rocks from any other position. The desert here may even seem hostile to those who don’t know it, as it has an unforgiving quality. Only the most adept at survival will make it out here.
